Ingredients
3 tablespoons vegetable oil (such as avocado, sunflower, or light olive oil), don’t use extra virgin olive oil
1 ½ lb beef steak, chopped into strips or chunks
2 carrots, sliced
1 red bell pepper, sliced
1 green bell pepper, sliced
1 head of broccoli, chopped
½ yellow onion, sliced
2 cloves of garlic, sliced
1 tablespoon grated ginger
2 tablespoons soy sauce
¼ cup water
1 tablespoon honey
1 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
¼ teaspoon Himalayan pink salt
¼ teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes
Directions
Heat the oil over a medium-high heat. Add the beef and brown on all sides for about 5 minutes. Take out the beef and set aside.
In the same pan add the ginger, garlic, and onions and cook for 1 minute. Add the soy sauce, water, honey, salt, pepper and all the veggies. Cook for 5 minutes.
Add the beef back in and cook to combine for another minute. Serve with steamed rice and enjoy!
